Key Points of Work Arrangement 2019 for Pudong New Area to Construct Core Functional Area for Shanghai International Shipping Center was printed and circulated recently, proposing 35 key missions which would further strengthen the capability of core functional area for Pudong shipping center in comprehensive resources allocation.

  This year, promotion by Pudong in construction of core functional area for shipping center will focus on 5 fields, including 1) promoting system innovation for shipping development and deepening free trade zone reforming; 2)concentrating on strategy and canvassing businesses accurately, accelerating the aggregation of shipping elements; 3) benchmarking the highest international standard and level, optimizing shipping business environment continuously; 4) strengthening international cooperation and communication, enhancing the radiating influence of shipping in Pudong; 5) optimizing collection and distribution system for the hub port, servicing the integration of Yangtze River Delta. 

  Amongst which, docking with new areas is one of the important missions. From the aspect of promoting to implement highly opened international shipping regime, Pudong proposes to benchmark the highest international standard and the best level, exploring to build opened shipping policies regime that will be competitive in international market, promoting to implement highly opened international transportation management and ship registration regimes, trying to include relevant works into the free trade zone new areas or upgraded reforming plan.
